I come to you today with a heavy heart, as FLEURS HQ was destroyed in the East Vancouver fire that broke out 2 days ago. Our office space was fully flooded and we lost all of our stock in the cross fire. As you may or may not know I am a small business, I run this all by myself with the help of my staff (friends!) and local artists who work at our HQ creating our herbal potions and remedies. This loss is huge for me, completely stripping me of my livelihood. When I got the email from my landlord, she said the fire hadn't reached our unit and we were fine. Within a few more hours it ended up spreading and subsequently our office space and shipping centre was completely flooded. I didn't know what to expect walking into the space, but once I got there, everything was destroyed. I'm truly devastated and I'm planning out what the next steps are for FLEURS and TALIA. The cost of my losses are so high, I am not sure how to proceed as a sole proprietor and small business owner it is devastating to see everything I've built destroyed. As I process this all I just wanted to say thank you so much for your support over the years, we celebrated our 8 years of business this 4/20 and I could not be more grateful. I am currently accepting by donation purchases of the tarot deck my sister and I designed- this is the only stock that survived the flood as it was wrapped in bubble wrap and boxes. We have  ALOT of tarot decks, so these are also a great time to purchase for resale if you have a small business.
